Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of myBizZone (the "Service"), operated by My Biz Zone, a sole proprietorship based in Indio, California ("myBizZone," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What myBizZone Is

myBizZone is a software platform that allows small businesses and independent service providers ("Sellers," "you," or "your business") to create and send invoices and quotes, track expenses, manage recurring billing, and give their own clients ("Buyers") a portal to view and pay for those documents. myBizZone provides the software only — we are not a party to the transaction between you and your Buyers.

3. Accounts & Subscriptions

myBizZone offers a Free plan with usage limits (currently up to 5 invoices, 3 quotes, and 3 active clients per month) and a paid Professional plan billed monthly or annually. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings; you will retain access to Professional features through the end of your current billing period.

4. Payments & Merchant of Record

When you connect a payment processor (such as Stripe or PayPal) to accept payments from your Buyers, payments are sent directly to your own connected account. myBizZone does not hold, pool, or take any commission from these transactions. You — the Seller — are the Merchant of Record for any goods or services sold to your Buyers, and you are solely responsible for delivering those goods or services, honoring your own refund or dispute policies, and complying with applicable law.

Your use of any connected payment processor is also subject to that processor's own terms of service and acceptable use policy (for example, PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy, which you agree to directly with PayPal when you connect your account).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use myBizZone to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Client Portal & Data

Your Buyers can access a secure, link-based Client Portal to view and pay invoices and quotes without creating a separate account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the client information (names, emails, amounts) you enter into the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep myBizZone available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, myBizZone and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or disputes between you and your Buyers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service in a way that puts other users or myBizZone at risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
